TRANSFORMATION
Continuous cooling transformation (CCT) diagrams are key tools for heat treatments in order to predict the microstructure for certain cooling rates. Ferritico simulates CCT diagrams and derive mechanical properties based on an alloy composition. Ferritico simulation capabilities reduce the need for extensive experimental testing, implying significantly reduced costs and time-to-market for steel development and implementation

Predicting Stacking Fault Energy (SFE) based on alloy composition enables identification of what secondary deformation mechanism operates in a steel, i.e. whether TWIP or TRIP effects can be gained when manufacturing steel
