We offer our customers the Ferritico steel properties and process simulation SaaS, where metallurgical know-how and powerful machine learning models are combined to help you simulate various steel characteristics. The machine learning software supports the entire value chain of steel, enabling faster novel steel development as well as steel product manufacturing process development and optimization.
THE STEEL PROCESSES
In addition to the generic Ferritico SaaS, Ferritico develops customized machine learning simulation models. The digital twin models are developed and hosted exclusively for individual customers to solve steel optimization challenges experienced in steel development, manufacturing or implementation processes. The models are developed in consultancy projects using customer data sets and support customer process development long-term. The customized simulation capabilities reduce the need of tedious trial-and-error testing and will act as a vehicle for creative ideas.
The Ferritico SaaS includes a set of machine learning modules provided out-of-the-box to simulate steel properties. The SaaS includes a heat treatment package where Continuous Cooling Transformation (CCT), Isothermal Transformation (TTT) and Tempering Transformation is simulated with market leading accuracy and speed. In addition, Ferritico includes simulation modules for Corrosion, Stacking-fault Energy (SFE), Deformation Induced Martensite Transformation (DIMT) and Embrittlement. More modules are under development and are customized for our clients upon request.
